Why choose Polish workers?

Polish workers have proven high levels of skill and experience and a strong work ethic. They come to the UK to work and often to settle.

How long does it take to recruit a driver?

It normally takes around 4/5 weeks to recruit suitable candidates and have the necessary documents in place prior to departure.

What about accommodation?

You have 2 options available. We can provide suitable accommodation via our property management arm or you can embark on the project yourself.

All our accommodation is fully compliant with renting and lettings regulations. You can speak to a member of our team about this if necessary.

What about Local Authority requirements?

We will arrange a meeting with your local authority to agree exactly what documents are required. We make sure that all drivers have the necessary documents as advised by the LA. We work very closely with your local authority throughout the recruitment process.

What about the documents they need?

From day one of their assignment with you they will have authorisation to work in the UK. We liase very closely with your local authority to make sure the drivers have all the appropriate paperwork in place. This includes, letters of good conduct from the Polish courts (CRB), driver medical clearance, passport and birth certificate.

What is their English like?

All our drivers are interviewed in English and undertake an English language assessment. Drivers must be ‘English communicative’

What are my obligations?

Duty of care. Remember this is a new life for the drivers. They will need time to settle into their new job and country. We ensure that drivers are qualified to drive, but you need to have your own induction in place. Experience tells us that it takes around 6/8 weeks for drivers to settle and around 4 months to become efficient drivers. You need to be ‘very supportive’ during this period. What is the recruitment process?

On agreeing the amount of drivers we will look to recruit immediately. It will take 4/5 weeks before your drivers arrive. We will pick them up on arrival and transfer them to their new accommodation. We will also oversee the drivers medical, knowledge tests and badging process.
